Your work will bridge the gap between software development and practical application within warehouse environments, allowing you to see the tangible impact of your projects. You will translate customer requirements into innovative technical solutions, develop bespoke extensions, and oversee projects from conception to go-live. Collaboration with clients, project management, service teams, and development colleagues will be essential to your success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging intralogistics projects with a focus on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, with approximately 10% travel to client sites for installation and support activities.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development with expertise in C# and .NET 10. Experience with ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and Entity Framework Core is essential, along with fundamental knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with REST APIs, Swagger, and OpenAPI for interface design and integration is required. You should have hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit, as well as continuous integration processes and Git source control. A solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles is necessary to develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code. Additionally, prior exposure to intralogistics or warehouse management systems is highly advantageous, enabling you to effectively translate technical requirements into practical solutions. Strong analytical skills, customer communication abilities, and proficiency in both German and English are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement customer-specific WMS solutions based on detailed technical and functional requirements. Engage in workshops to clarify client needs and provide technical advice on functions, APIs, and system interfaces. Design, develop, and integrate custom extensions using C# and .NET, ensuring they are reusable, scalable, and maintainable across various application layers. Ensure the quality of your code through automated unit and integration tests, contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes. Support clients during the deployment phase by installing and configuring software in their environments, including on-site assistance during system go-live with approximately 10% travel. Collaborate closely with project teams, service, and customer support to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction. Maintain documentation, adhere to best practices, and participate in code reviews to uphold high standards of software quality and performance.
