2. About the Opportunity:

The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Credit Card will serve as a key technical leader responsible for architecting, building, and scaling the platform behind the organization''s credit card and rewards program. This role impacts fan engagement by delivering a seamless financial product integrated with the broader ecosystem. The position requires full-stack expertise to create performant frontend experiences and robust backend services, contributing to engineering culture and technical direction on a growth-focused team.

3. Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, test, document, and deploy frontend and backend services for the credit card platform and rewards engine
• Make architectural decisions balancing short-term delivery and long-term scalability
• Build and improve customer-facing experiences using modern frontend frameworks ensuring performance and accessibility
• Design scalable, event-driven APIs integrating with partners and the broader ecosystem
• Own features end-to-end, from requirements refinement to production deployment and monitoring
• Mentor early-career engineers and participate in code reviews to maintain engineering standards
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
• Implement observability best practices to ensure system reliability and performance
• Participate in on-call rotation and take ownership of production systems
• Stay updated on fintech, payments, and technology trends to enhance platform quality

4. Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience across frontend and backend development
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks, especially React (TypeScript preferred), with strong knowledge of state management and web performance
• Strong backend skills in Java, Node.js, Go, or Python, with experience building production-grade distributed services
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and familiarity with event-driven architectures such as Kafka or SQS
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, including data modeling best practices
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Proven ability to lead technical design, write clear technical specifications, and drive consensus across teams
• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, design patterns, testing strategies, and CI/CD
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
