Frontend Engineer | React & TypeScript | Remote (Once per month in London) | Up to £65,000

I’m working with a fast-growing technology business operating in the cybersecurity space, looking for a Frontend Engineer to help build intuitive, high-quality web applications.

What you’ll be doing

• Building polished, responsive components and web pages using React.
• Improving application functionality, usability and performance.
• Collaborating with backend and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Gathering user feedback and translating it into effective product improvements.
• Creating functional requirements, mock-ups and prototypes.
• Supporting backend engineers with coding and troubleshooting where needed.
• Optimising applications for scalability, accessibility, security and maintainability.
• Keeping up to date with frontend technologies and best practices.

What they’re looking for

• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript and CSS.
• Good understanding of the full web development lifecycle, from design through to deployment.
• Experience with browser testing, debugging and testing frameworks such as React Testing Library.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles, layout and SEO fundamentals.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
