We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with a strong Angular focus for our client's banking project. The project centers on financing processes in retail banking, specifically consumer and framework loans, running across a distributed system landscape of an Angular SPA, Java microservices, and REST APIs.

We're looking for an experienced engineer who can independently own and deliver features end-to-end, from the Angular frontend through backend services and integrations, and who brings a quality-first mindset, including hands-on test automation.

This is a long-term hybrid contract position until the end of 2027, with one day per week on site in Budapest .

Responsibilities

• Independently design, implement, and deliver features across the Angular frontend and Java backend.
• Develop and maintain the Angular SPA supporting retail lending processes.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services within a microservices architecture.
• Implement and integrate business processes using workflow engines (Camunda).
• Work across complex end-to-end flows and interfaces in a distributed system landscape.
• Build and maintain automated tests, including UI, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and fellow engineers to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices.

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an Angular Developer
• Fullstack expertise with Java and microservices.
• Experience with REST API integration.
• Experience in complex system landscapes, including end-to-end flows and interfaces.
• Experience with at least one workflow engine.
• Hands-on test automation experience (JMeter, Playwright, Tosca).
• Ability to independently implement features end to end.
