You will work across both front-end and back-end systems, utilizing modern technologies such as Java, Angular, Spring Boot, and relational databases to deliver high-quality, secure, and compliant solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to innovative projects that impact healthcare, life sciences, or related domains. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and industry experience, including:

  • Experience working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
  • Strong proficiency in Java (preferably versions 17-22), JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with modern frameworks and tools, including Angular or React, Spring Boot, and Spring Reactive.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and version control systems like Git/GitLab.
  • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and automated testing tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
  • Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture, and Reactive Programming principles.
  • Experience working within Agile or Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments and using release management tools like Jira.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote and regulated environments.

Preferred qualifications include over three years of experience developing SaaS-based products, especially within FDA-regulated or similar environments, and familiarity with biomedical, healthcare, or life sciences domains. Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support SaaS-based solutions within an agile team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to production support and maintenance.
  • Implement automation strategies for testing, deployment, and monitoring to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, security, and maintainability.
  • Evaluate system enhancements and releases, assessing their impact on business processes and user experience.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and support validation processes required in regulated environments.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
