With a focus on leveraging technology to improve patient outcomes and streamline healthcare operations, PMHCC Inc. is committed to maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and security. Our team comprises talented professionals who work collaboratively to develop solutions that meet regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive health information.

About The Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level .NET Developer to join our dynamic IT team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable web applications using ASP.NET technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. A significant aspect of this position is ensuring that all applications adhere to strict security standards, including HIPAA compliance, to protect sensitive health data. The role requires a detail-oriented developer with 3-6 years of experience in .NET development, who demonstrates a strong commitment to code quality and best practices in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or demonstrate equivalent professional experience in software development. Proven experience in developing or supporting applications within HIPAA-regulated or other highly secure environments is essential. Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and tools such as ASP.NET Core Identity and Azure AD (Entra ID) is highly desirable. Additionally, experience with RESTful API development, system integration, and cloud-based architectures will be advantageous. Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, database design, and the use of version control systems like Git and Azure DevOps is required. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this role include designing, developing, and maintaining web applications utilizing C#, ASP.NET Core, Razor Pages, MVC, and Web API frameworks. The developer will translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions, following established architectural patterns. They will enhance user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies to deliver intuitive and user-friendly experiences. Ensuring application security is paramount; thus, the developer must implement secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities such as input validation issues and authentication flaws, adhering to OWASP guidelines.

Additionally, the role involves writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and managing database schemas in Microsoft SQL Server to ensure high performance and data integrity. Implementing audit logging and monitoring systems to track activity related to sensitive data access is also a core responsibility, safeguarding data confidentiality. The developer will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to refine requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver user-centric solutions. Utilizing Azure DevOps or similar tools, they will manage source control, automate deployments, and track work items effectively. Supporting legacy system modernization efforts, including migration to .NET Core and cloud-enabled architectures, is also part of the role. Throughout all activities, the developer must ensure compliance with HIPAA, data privacy standards, and organizational security policies.
