We are looking for a Graduate
Frontend Developer to build the digital tools that support our senior advisory team in their work with complex investments and partnership decisions. Our partner is a major French entity, and this role involves creating the interfaces needed to present counterparty analysis and capital deployment scenarios. As a junior member of the technical team, you will focus on turning raw research and commercial
data into functional, clear, and reliable
web applications. This is a fully remote position that allows you to see how technical tools facilitate high level decisions between sovereign entities and private groups.
What you will do - Build and maintain responsive web interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks to support our advisory projects.
- Translate complex data sets regarding joint ventures and investment entry into clear, interactive visualizations for client presentations.
- Work closely with senior partners to understand how they use commercial judgment so that your technical solutions reflect the ground reality of the market.
- Write clean, documented code that follows team standards and can be easily maintained as projects evolve.
- Test all interfaces across different browsers and devices to ensure a smooth experience for users who may be accessing tools from various environments.
- Participate in regular technical reviews and apply feedback to improve the performance and logic of your code.
- Refine existing dashboards to better reflect the specific logic of the territories where our clients operate.
- Contribute to internal tools that make the preparation of strategy reports and partnership models more efficient for the research team.
What you bring - A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar technical field completed recently.
- Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with some exposure to frameworks such as React or Vue through university projects or personal work.
- A logical approach to problem solving and an interest in how software can support commercial decision-making.
- The discipline to test your own work thoroughly and a high level of attention to detail regarding user interface consistency.
- The ability to explain technical choices clearly to partners and advisors who focus on commercial outcomes rather than code.
- A mindset that prioritizes functionality and clarity over unnecessary technical complexity.
- Curiosity about how state capital and private investments function in different markets.
- Strong English communication skills and a habit of keeping clear documentation for every task you complete.
What we offer - A fully remote work environment that provides autonomy and trusts you to manage your own schedule and output.
- Direct exposure to the commercial advisory process for significant global entities and sovereign groups.
- A permanent, full-time contract with a pay structure that is competitive for the entry level market and recognizes your growth.
- Mentorship from senior professionals who value direct evidence and results over corporate theory or generic models.
Working at Gulf Associates
Gulf Associates operates with a focus on commercial judgment rather than standard consultancy reports. We avoid the fluff often found in global corporate environments and instead concentrate on the reality of how deals are settled. Our team is small by design, ensuring that even junior members are close to the work that matters. We value honesty and directness, and we expect our team to be comfortable being measured on the results their work helps achieve. The
culture here is centered on providing a position our clients can act on, which requires everyone, including our developers, to understand the commercial stakes involved. You will work in a setting where your technical contributions have a direct line to the final advice given to chief executives and sovereign partners.
