About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Frontend Engineer to join our talented team at ClickUp. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and development of major frontend systems and product initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. Your expertise will help shape the architecture of our frontend platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can navigate ambiguity with clarity, and possesses the ability to influence both technical decisions and strategic direction across the organization. Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend engineering experience with a proven track record in Angular and React development
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, and modern frontend architecture patterns
• Experience designing reusable component systems and scalable application structures
• Strong knowledge of performance optimization, debugging, and building large-scale web applications
• Excellent product sense and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment
• Demonstrated success leading major technical initiatives and influencing team strategies
• Proven mentorship skills with a history of elevating frontend craftsmanship among team members
• Exceptional communication and execution skills, especially under high-urgency conditions
• Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, Playwright, or similar, along with the ability to develop testing strategies

• Lead the development of complex product features and frontend systems utilizing Angular and React frameworks
