Role Description The Junior Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of MERN-based web applications in a collaborative engineering environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, well-documented code, implementing new features, fixing bugs, assisting with code reviews, and supporting integration and testing activities. The engineer will work with senior developers to understand requirements, translate them into technical tasks, and help optimize application performance and reliability. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent communication, proactive learning, and participation in virtual meetings and sprint ceremonies.
Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or Java).
• Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their practical application.
• Exposure to or interest in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) and modern web development practices.
• Ability to read and write clear technical documentation and collaborate effectively in remote teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback constructively, and adapt to evolving project requirements and technologies.
