About Previse

Previse is building performance advertising for connected TV. TV is the largest ad market that hasn't been optimized this way yet, and we're making it a real performance channel: AI models that tie outcomes back to the ads that caused them, and serve the right ad in the moment a spot plays. Previse was started by one of the few people who have moved ad-model performance at the frontier, and keeping that bar is the whole hiring strategy.

The role

Previse is a modeling company, and the systems around the models are some of the hardest engineering in it: resolving identity at scale, turning real outcomes into clean training data, and serving the right ad in real time. This role is for a strong generalist who can take an ambiguous, complex problem anywhere in that stack and build the thing that solves it.

What you'd own

• Hard engineering across the whole loop, from identity resolution to serving ads in real time

• The systems and pipelines that turn raw events into clean, reliable data

• Real architectural decisions, with the latitude to make them

What we look for

• A track record of solving complex, open-ended engineering problems end to end

• Strong systems and software fundamentals, with the judgment to design for scale

• Comfort working close to ML without needing to be a modeling specialist

What we offer

This is a founding role, early enough to shape the company, and it carries equity well above what comparable roles usually hold at this stage. That's deliberate: the people who build the first version of Previse should own a real share of what they build. We stay small on purpose, so we hire for ownership. You'll take problems that aren't fully defined yet and carry them the whole way, with room to work how you work best.
