Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex software defects.
- Develop and implement new application features.
- Refactor existing code to improve readability, maintainability, and long-term performance.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and resource efficiency.
- Review software architecture and recommend technical improvements.
- Analyze algorithms and system performance to identify optimization opportunities.
- Produce clear technical documentation and implementation rationale.
- Participate in engineering discussions and technical reviews.
- Contribute software expertise to support AI evaluation and development initiatives.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python 3, Java, Rust, or TypeScript.
- Experience with C++ or Go is considered an advantage.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Proven experience with debugging, feature development, and large-scale codebase maintenance.
- Ability to improve application performance and system scalability.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in remote, collaborative engineering environments.
- Experience with distributed systems or enterprise-scale applications is preferred.
- Familiarity with software architecture reviews and engineering best practices is preferred.
- Exposure to AI or machine learning projects is beneficial but not required.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot is considered an asset.
