We're partnering with a growing technology company specialising in PCI compliance and payment solutions for businesses running their contact centres on AWS's Amazon Connect platform. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who takes system security and reliability as seriously as they do. 

This role sits at the intersection of backend and frontend development - you'll design new products and keep existing systems running, working through infrastructure, integrations, and real problems, with the end-to-end thinking that keeps payments secure and available. It's a fully remote role, and you can be based anywhere in Australia. 

What you'll be doing

• Designing and building new features end to end, across the backend (Golang, Python) and frontend (TypeScript) of a payments platform
• Maintaining, debugging, and improving systems already in production, with security and availability front of mind
• Tracing how your changes affect systems upstream and downstream before you ship, so nothing breaks quietly downstream

What we're looking for

• Senior, hands-on experience across backend and frontend development
• Experience with Golang, TypeScript, and Python
• Solid working knowledge of AWS services
• Ability to understand a system end to end and reason about the impact of change before making it
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with genuine attention to detail
• Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative, with clear communication
• Comfortable working fully remote with a high degree of autonomy and ownership

Highly regarded 

• PCI DSS or payments industry experience or exposure
• Experience with the Django framework
