About The Role
As a Full-Stack Developer, you will design, build, test, and support application features across the front end, back end, and data layers. This role is based in Austin, Texas, and is suited to a senior engineer with extensive React experience and a strong background in GraphQL, backend development, and BigQuery. You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable solutions, improve existing systems, and deliver integrations that work effectively within enterprise environments. The position calls for sound technical judgment, clear communication, and a practical approach to debugging and quality assurance.
Qualifications
Candidates should have 10 or more years of professional React development experience, at least seven years of GraphQL and backend development experience, and five or more years working with BigQuery. Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Go/Golang, or Python is required, along with advanced SQL skills and familiarity with designing and working with data-driven applications. Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL is a plus.
You should be comfortable using GitHub for source control and collaborating through code reviews, branching strategies, and large codebases. Demonstrated experience developing REST APIs and supporting enterprise integrations is important. Familiarity with single sign-on and multifactor authentication solutions is beneficial, including Okta, Azure AD or Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, and SAML. Candidates should also bring strong debugging skills and experience creating or maintaining integration tests. The ability to communicate technical decisions, collaborate across functions, and manage work responsibly in a changing environment will support success in this role.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain responsive user-facing features using React, following established coding standards and application architecture. Build and enhance backend services, GraphQL interfaces, and REST APIs using Node.js, Go/Golang, Python, or other relevant technologies. Query, transform, and manage data using SQL and BigQuery, while supporting data workflows and application performance.
Integrate applications with enterprise platforms and services, including authentication and identity systems where required. Investigate defects across frontend, backend, API, and data layers; identify root causes; and implement durable fixes. Write and maintain unit, integration, and other appropriate tests to validate functionality and reduce regression risk. Participate in GitHub-based development workflows, including branching, pull requests, and constructive code reviews. Work with colleagues to clarify requirements, estimate technical work, document implementation decisions, and deliver maintainable solutions. Contribute to improving development practices, system reliability, and the quality of the overall user experience.
