Role Description This is a full-time Web application 9 Developer role based in Benin City, structured as a hybrid position that combines on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The Web application Developer will design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites and web applications that support the academy’s educational offerings and brand presence. Must be very good in PHP and Laravel and other programming languages, Should be able to edit and customized existing web applications. Day-to-day tasks include implementing front-end interfaces, developing back-end functionality, optimizing performance, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and maintaining site security. The role also involves collaborating with content, design, and academic teams to translate educational requirements into effective digital experiences, troubleshooting technical issues, and updating existing features based on feedback and analytics. The Website Developer will contribute to technical planning, documentation, and continuous improvement of the academy’s web platforms.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Web Development and Programming, with experience building and maintaining modern web applications.
• Candidates should possess skills in Front and Back End Development and Web Design, including responsive layouts, accessibility, and user-centered interface design.
• Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development, including server-side logic, database integration, and API development.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework or library (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) is beneficial.
• Experience with server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Python/Django, or similar) and relational/non-relational databases is beneficial.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with cross-functional teams are beneficial.
• A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
