About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in the modernization of our complex ERP landscape. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI-driven development, contributing to the evolution of our architecture toward intelligent, agent-based workflows and AI-supported tools. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable APIs, microservices, and middleware solutions that seamlessly connect our existing ERP systems with modern cloud-based services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape the future of our enterprise platform, ensuring it is flexible, modular, and AI-ready.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience in Java backend development, with a strong command of SpringBoot. A solid understanding of relational databases, particularly Oracle and PL/SQL, is essential. Familiarity with modern infrastructure concepts, including containerization and cloud environments, is highly desirable. A genuine interest in AI-driven development and enthusiasm for integrating new tools and workflows into practical solutions is crucial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a structured manner are important qualities. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a central integration and middleware layer that connects our existing ERP system with modern services and standard solutions.
• Create scalable REST APIs and microservices based on Java and SpringBoot to gradually transform our ERP architecture into a more modular, service-oriented structure.
• Participate in the modernization of an Oracle-based ERP platform towards a flexible, cloud-capable, and AI-ready system landscape.
• Implement messaging systems such as RabbitMQ to establish asynchronous, loosely coupled processes and event-driven patterns.
• Contribute to architecture and technology decisions, supporting the continuous evolution of our platform stack.
• Assist in establishing an AI-first working approach by integrating AI tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and agent-based development methods into daily workflows.
• Design services and interfaces with a focus on future AI-driven automation and intelligent business processes.
