Maximus is currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Microsoft .Net/Azure).
This is a remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of complex software applications from business requirements in collaboration with other team members
Investigate new solutions, tools, products, and techniques to incorporate into coding standards.
Troubleshoot complex issues and produce detailed proposals to resolve.
Support testing and remediate defects
Guide, coach, and mentor entry and mid-level developers
Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Estimate Level of Effort for Scrum Product Backlog Items (PBIs) for webapplications.
Create and complete PBIs for webapplications using Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, AzureDevOps, and AzureSQL.
Support webapplications using Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, AzureDevOps, AzureSQL, and service management tool.
Perform Scrum software development Quality Assurance (QA) for webapplications.
Present webapplications to internal stakeholders.
Perform ad-hoc and routine privileged database operations.
Perform other job duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related field.
7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree .
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
At least seven (7) years of experience working with Microsoft C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, Telerik Kendo UI, and SQL Server/ AzureSQL required. Full time college coursework or related training may be substituted for the experience requirement.
Knowledge of Microsoft Visual C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, Telerik Kendo UI, and SQL Server/AzureSQL T-SQL required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent cross-functional team collaboration skills.
Ability to investigate new solutions, tools, products, and techniques to incorporate into coding standards.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and produce detailed proposals to resolve.
Ability to perform all job duties in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and company confidentiality policies.
Ability to multitask effectively while performing job duties.
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision.
Ability to work remotely.
Ability to routinely meet via MS Teams and/or Zoom calls.
High speed internet required Ability to work core hours of 9AM Central Time to 2PM Central Time.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
A college degree in engineering, computer sciences, or closely related field is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Azure App Services, .NET Core, Redis, Power BI, Azure Key Vault, or AzureAPI Management are desirable.
Experience in the Health and Human Services industry is desirable.
