eHigher is hiring a Junior Software Engineer to join our tech team. We build data infrastructure and analytics tools for Amazon and marketplace brands across Europe. That covers pipelines from Amazon’s APIs into a data warehouse, plus the dashboards our users rely on every day.

The role mixes frontend work with backend and data work. We don’t expect you to know everything on day one. If you’re comfortable with React and TypeScript and curious about data and APIs, we’ll help you learn the rest.

What you will do

Frontend

  • Build and improve features in React and TypeScript
  • Turn designs into responsive components using Tailwind CSS
  • Connect the frontend to our APIs
  • Write tests with Vitest and Playwright

Backend and data

  • Help build and maintain integrations with Amazon SP API and Amazon Ads API
  • Work on REST APIs in TypeScript (Node.js) or Python
  • Write SQL queries and learn to build data models in dbt
  • Help track down bugs across the stack

General

  • Use AI coding tools such as Claude in your daily work
  • Take part in code reviews and deployments

What we are looking for

  • Some professional experience (internships count), or solid projects you can show us
  • Good knowledge of React, TypeScript, HTML and CSS
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs
  • Basic SQL
  • Comfortable with Git
  • Already using AI coding tools
  • Good written English

Nice to have

  • Backend experience in Node.js or Python
  • Any exposure to Amazon SP API or Ads API
  • dbt, or a data warehouse such as BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift
  • Tailwind CSS
  • State management libraries (Redux, TanStack)
  • Basic cloud experience (AWS, GCP or Azure) and CI/CD
