About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible

for maintaining and supporting our existing production applications, implementing feature

enhancements, and fixing bugs across the full stack. You will work closely with senior developers,

contribute to the stability and improvement of established systems, and develop your expertise by

working with proven technology patterns and codebases.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support existing production applications, ensuring stability and performance.
• Implement feature enhancements and improvements to established codebases.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs across frontend and backend.
• Work with code reviews to ensure quality standards and consistency with existing patterns.
• Contribute to small-to-medium scoped tasks within established architectural frameworks.
• Assist with routine updates, dependency management, and technical debt reduction.
• Support integration work with third-party services under senior guidance.
• Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, QA, and senior developers on feature implementation.
• Document and communicate changes, issues, and improvements to the team.

Technical Skills

Frontend

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Working experience with Vue.js and/or React in production applications.
• Comfort navigating and modifying Nuxt.js or Next.js codebases.
• Practical knowledge of Tailwind CSS for component updates and styling.
• Understanding of frontend debugging and browser developer tools.

Backend

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Solid hands-on experience with Node.js in production environments.
• Ability to work within ElysiaJS or similar backend frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL for data queries and updates.
• Ability to understand and work with Drizzle ORM patterns in existing code.
• Competency reading and writing database queries with guidance.
• Familiarity with Docker for local development and deployment workflows.
• Basic understanding of authentication systems like Ory Kratos.
• Ability to use Claude Code and AI-assisted tools for productivity.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Full Stack development experience (bootcamp, internship, or professional projects).
• Familiarity with working in production codebases and existing applications.
• Comfortable reading, understanding, and modifying established code.
• Ability to follow existing code patterns and architectural conventions.
• Strong problem-solving skills for debugging and troubleshooting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to take direction, ask clarifying questions, and follow through on assignments.
• Attention to detail and commitment to code quality and testing.
