About The Role

The Frontend Engineer builds responsive, high-performance web applications used by customers to manage workflows, analyze data, and complete critical tasks. The role owns features from component architecture and API integration through testing, observability, and production release.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to turn complex product requirements into intuitive interfaces. The team values strong user experience, maintainable TypeScript, and frontend systems that remain reliable as the product and customer base scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and ship production features using React, TypeScript, and modern CSS, with careful attention to accessibility, responsiveness, and browser performance
  • Design reusable component systems and frontend patterns that improve consistency across customer-facing applications
  • Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, manage client-side state with tools such as React Query or Redux, and handle loading, error, and offline states cleanly
  • Collaborate with product and design to translate prototypes and requirements into polished interfaces with measurable usability outcomes
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright
  • Profile and improve frontend performance, including bundle size, Core Web Vitals, rendering behavior, and network efficiency
  • Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and production incident follow-up while documenting decisions and maintaining engineering standards

What We Are Looking For

  • 3–8 years of professional frontend or full-stack software engineering experience, with significant ownership of production web applications
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and hands-on experience building applications with React and modern frontend tooling
  • Experience with responsive UI development, semantic HTML, CSS architecture, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Proficiency integrating REST or GraphQL services and working with authentication, authorization, error handling, and asynchronous data flows
  • Demonstrated ability to write maintainable automated tests and use browser debugging, profiling, and monitoring tools to resolve issues
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Bonus: Experience with Next.js, design systems, Storybook, React Native, CI/CD pipelines, or frontend observability platforms
