Role Description As a Senior Backend Developer at Kinterview.cc, you will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services that power our interview and assessment platform. You will develop and optimize APIs, manage data models, and ensure system reliability, security, and performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, refactoring existing code, reviewing peer code, and collaborating with product and frontend teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You will also participate in architectural decisions, troubleshoot production issues, and improve development workflows and tooling. This is a full-time remote role, offering flexibility while requiring strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills in a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including building RESTful or GraphQL APIs and integrating with databases.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, preferably with modern backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or similar).
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns, with experience applying them in production systems.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, caching technologies, and message queues.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, containerization, CI/CD pipelines).
• Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code, with experience in automated testing and code reviews.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
