Qualifications
- U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance or higher
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience (experience may substitute for degree)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience developing, deploying, and maintaining full-stack web applications and software systems
- At least 2 years of experience in requirements gathering and validation for software applications
- Proficiency with web UI components including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (NodeJS), and Angular
- Experience designing and building RESTful web services
- Knowledge of Java EE/Jakarta EE integration, Servlets, and JDBC
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or equivalent SQL databases and writing complex queries
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles, Java Streams, Lambda expressions, Collections framework, and Exception handling
- Collaborate with an existing team of web developers to deliver comprehensive full-stack web applications aligned with operational needs
- Document and validate detailed web application requirements to ensure clarity and completeness
- Develop automated testing frameworks and scripts in accordance with test plans to ensure software quality
- Provide architectural design support and technical guidance during the development process
- Participate in software design discussions, recommending appropriate tools, technologies, and methodologies
- Refactor and enhance existing web applications by adding new features, improving reliability, and optimizing performance
- Review and ensure web application security compliance by evaluating cybersecurity posture and implementing best practices
- Maintain documentation related to system design, development processes, and security protocols
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into projects
