Software Developer — Full-Stack & DevOps

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer who can take ownership of features from initial requirements through development, deployment, monitoring, and post-release support.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end engineering role for someone comfortable working across the full technology stack, including backend development, frontend applications, databases, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and event-driven systems.

You will join a distributed team and work independently, while collaborating closely with colleagues across different locations and time zones.

Our client is an international healthcare technology company developing a cloud-based operations management platform for hospitals and healthcare organizations. Its solutions combine real-time location technology, workflow automation, asset management and AI-powered insights to help medical teams improve operational efficiency, equipment visibility, service quality and patient care.

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, test, and maintain end-to-end software features.
• Develop scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Build modern and responsive user interfaces using React.
• Design and optimize relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Improve database schemas, query performance, and data integrity.
• Build asynchronous and event-driven workflows using technologies such as RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Kafka.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Work with Microsoft Azure, including cloud infrastructure, container services, monitoring, and observability.
• Own features from requirements and technical planning through production deployment and ongoing support.
• Collaborate proactively with distributed engineering and product teams.
• Identify technical risks, propose solutions, and communicate progress clearly.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong, demonstrable experience as a full-stack developer with Node.js and React.
• Significant understanding of DevOps on Microsoft Azure - Azure DevOps, pipelines, container services, and cloud infrastructure.
• Solid database expertise (relational and/or NoSQL), with a good grasp of data modeling and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience designing and working with message queues and event-driven architectures.
• Self-sufficient and autonomous - able to scope, plan, and execute work independently and reliably.
• End-to-end deliverability - a track record of owning features from start to finish, including testing,deployment, and post-release support.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, suited to remote collaboration.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in distributed or offshore engineering teams.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building scalable and highly available cloud applications.

Compensation: USD 4,500 – 7,300/month (depending on experience)
