About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer II to join our Decision Management Program (DMP) team. This role is pivotal in advancing our customer experience strategy through continuous innovation, problem-solving, and technical excellence. The successful candidate will work on developing, maintaining, and enhancing Mastercard's decisioning platforms, particularly focusing on advanced decisioning and intelligence solutions that enable real-time transaction analysis and intelligent decision-making. Qualifications

Proficiency in Java programming and familiarity with modern development tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies are required. Strong problem-solving skills, debugging capabilities, and a solid understanding of software engineering principles are vital. Responsibilities
- Own and manage the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing, deployment, and documentation, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor existing applications to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Develop expertise in emerging technologies, architectural patterns, and programming languages to support evolving business needs.
- Collaborate effectively within Agile Scrum teams, participating in planning sessions, sprint reviews, and daily stand-ups to prioritize and deliver features aligned with business goals.
- Automate build, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes to enhance efficiency, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Partner with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to demos, and ensure solutions meet business and customer needs.
- Promote engineering best practices by upholding coding standards, conducting code reviews, sharing knowledge, and continuously improving architecture and development frameworks.
