About The Role

Lenovo is seeking a talented Lead Frontend Engineer to join our AI Platform and User Experience team. This remote position, open to candidates anywhere in the U.S., will focus on developing and optimizing the user interface for our enterprise AI services platform. The platform is designed to manage and optimize token spending, model orchestration, cost controls, security governance, usage analytics, and API management. As a key contributor, you will collaborate closely with product teams, UI/UX designers, and back-end developers to create seamless, efficient, and innovative user experiences. You will leverage your expertise in front-end development, performance optimization, and AI-powered user interactions to build scalable, secure, and user-friendly interfaces that enable organizations to adopt AI solutions confidently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular)
• 10+ years of experience working with high-scale distributed systems and cloud-native development
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Experience with front-end performance optimization tools and techniques
• Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack and package management systems

• Collaborate with product teams and UI/UX designers to develop engaging and intuitive user experiences
• Create effective workflows and user interaction models to enhance usability and accessibility
• Implement responsive design principles ensuring compatibility across various browsers and devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues in coordination with back-end developers
• Analyze error logs, browser console messages, and code logic to identify root causes and implement fixes
• Optimize front-end performance through techniques like code splitting, lazy loading, and resource compression
• Monitor performance metrics and continuously improve the responsiveness and speed of the platform
• Integrate AI-powered features such as chat interfaces, conversational AI, and LLM-driven workflows into the front-end
• Consume AI/ML APIs and stream inference responses to deliver real-time AI experiences
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering productivity platforms when applicable
• Build and maintain real-time dashboards, operational monitoring platforms, and data visualization interfaces
