Role Description The Web Developer will build, maintain, and optimize web applications that integrate with DBByte’s data infrastructure platform. In this full-time remote role, the individual will develop both front-end and back-end components, implement responsive and accessible user interfaces, and ensure robust, secure, and scalable application architecture. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient code, collaborating with product and design teams, reviewing peer code, troubleshooting issues, and improving application performance. The Web Developer will also contribute to technical documentation, participate in planning and estimation, and stay current with modern web technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Front-end skills including Front-End Development, Web Design, and building responsive, accessible user interfaces
• Back-end skills including Back-End Web Development and Programming for scalable, secure server-side applications
• Core Web Development skills covering full-stack workflows, integration with APIs, and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with modern web technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks, RESTful APIs)
• Familiarity with performance optimization, security best practices, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional team
• Relevant experience as a Web Developer or similar role; a degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience is beneficial
