Company Description

GeoSnake | AI Optimization helps businesses understand and improve how often their brands appear in AI-generated answers. Instead of focusing only on traditional SEO, GeoSnake specializes in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), ensuring brands are found, mentioned, and recommended by AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity. The platform provides visibility into the AI search landscape by tracking brand mentions across large language models, measuring AI visibility scores, comparing competitors, and analyzing sources and sentiment. GeoSnake turns AI visibility into measurable and actionable insights so business owners can see where their brand appears, how it compares, and what content or information needs improvement. It is built for a future where customers rely on AI assistants for direct recommendations rather than just search results.

Role Description The Software Engineer (Lovable) will work part-time in a remote capacity, helping design, build, and refine GeoSnake’s AI optimization and analytics platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining backend and frontend features, integrating with AI and search APIs, and building tools that track brand visibility across LLMs. The role involves collaborating with product and design teammates to create intuitive, “lovable” user experiences, improving performance and reliability, and implementing automated tests and monitoring. The engineer will also participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and help shape the technical roadmap for GEO-focused products.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go) and experience building web applications or services.
  • Experience with backend development, APIs, and data processing (e.g., REST/GraphQL services, integrations with AI/LLM APIs, handling structured and unstructured data).
  • Frontend development skills using contemporary frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar) with a focus on usability and creating engaging, “lovable” interfaces.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure; CI/CD pipelines; containerization with Docker; basic monitoring and logging).
  • Understanding of AI, LLMs, or search/SEO concepts (e.g., generative AI, retrieval, ranking, analytics for visibility and brand tracking) is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to write clean, well-tested code, perform code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Comfort working in a remote, part-time environment with strong communication, collaboration, and self-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in marketing technology or analytics is a plus.
