About The Role
micro1 is seeking experienced Frontend Software Engineers for a specialized AI training initiative. This is a contract-based, remote role that diverges from traditional software engineering positions. Instead of developing production applications, your primary focus will be on creating high-quality technical documentation, examples, and structured outputs that facilitate the training and enhancement of next-generation AI systems. Your frontend expertise will be instrumental in interpreting detailed component style guides and screenshots to produce pixel-perfect, responsive web interfaces that meet high standards of usability and aesthetics. This role does not require prior AI experience; your frontend engineering skills and attention to detail are what matter most. Effective communication and collaboration are highly valued, as you will work asynchronously within a remote environment, providing clear documentation and feedback to ensure project success.

Qualifications

- An advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science or related technical fields is a plus.
- Create high-quality technical documentation and structured examples based on real-world frontend scenarios.
- Evaluate UI implementations, styling decisions, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
- Interpret component style guides and screenshots to produce accurate, visually consistent UI deliverables.
- Implement pixel-perfect, responsive web components using modern technologies such as Typescript and CSS3.
- Ensure all UI elements adhere to established design systems and accessibility standards.
- Collaborate asynchronously with team members through detailed documentation and constructive feedback.
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies or ambiguities in design specifications proactively.
- Optimize UI performance across various devices, focusing on fast load times and smooth interactions.
