Principal Full-Stack Engineer — Web & Backend

Django is a must. At Varicon, we're building production-grade systems on Python/Django, and we need a Principal Full-Stack Engineer to own that stack end-to-end — architecture, ORM, migrations, DRF, the works. If Django is your home turf and you're ready to lead at a senior level, let's talk.

Location: Remote/Hybrid (Nepal-based preferred)

What You'll Do

• Architect and build scalable full-stack applications on Django
• Own backend, database, and API design decisions
• Lead code reviews and set engineering standards
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers
• Stay hands-on — write and ship code regularly

What We Need

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience, including 3-6+ years with Django
• Strong Django (ORM, DRF, migrations) and full-stack (JS, HTML/CSS) skills
• Proven experience architecting production systems
• Strong SQL/database skills
• Mentoring or team leadership experience

Nice to Have: AWS/GCP, CI/CD, FastAPI/Flask, AI/ML integration exposure
