As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain robust web applications across both front-end and back-end systems. You will work primarily with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Express, and PostgreSQL to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Collaborating with Product, Design, and DevOps teams, you will turn complex business needs into intuitive digital experiences. This role offers the opportunity to influence technical decisions, improve engineering practices, and build reusable software components. You will take ownership of meaningful projects while contributing to a collaborative, remote-first culture focused on innovation, quality, and customer impact.

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Express.
• Build and maintain server-side APIs, data models, and business logic, primarily using Express.
• Develop reusable, function-based React components, hooks, stories, and tests that integrate effectively with back-end services.
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and data interactions.
• Create modular and maintainable front-end and back-end components that support scalability and code reuse.
• Test, debug, and troubleshoot applications to ensure performance, reliability, security, and code quality.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote engineering best practices across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate project progress, address technical challenges, and deliver effective solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve development workflows, tools, methodologies, and overall engineering efficiency.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance product quality and development processes.
  
  

Requirements

• At least 8 years of full-stack software development experience, with a strong focus on TypeScript.
• Extensive hands-on experience designing, coding, testing, and maintaining production-grade web applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Express, and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and contribute effectively within a collaborative engineering team.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a passion for solving customer problems through thoughtful software development.
• A business-oriented mindset, focused on delivering practical, high-value outcomes and maintaining an excellent customer experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to code quality, maintainability, and reliable software delivery.
• Comfort working in a remote-first environment with geographically distributed colleagues.
  
  

Additional Experience That Would Be An Advantage

• Experience developing and maintaining SaaS products that operate continuously on a major cloud platform.
• A solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Chai, Storybook, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
