A fast-growing, venture-backed SaaS company is looking for a Backend Engineer. You will join a highly collaborative engineering team responsible for designing, building, and scaling backend services that power an innovative automation platform.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Kotlin.
• Build and scale applications using the Spring Boot framework to support a growing SaaS platform.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making within a startup environment.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver new features and improve platform performance.
• Help establish engineering best practices and improve system reliability as the team continues to grow.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Proven commercial experience with Java and Kotlin development.
• Strong experience building and deploying applications with Spring Boot.
• Previous experience working in a startup, scale-up, or founding team environment.
• Ability to take ownership of technical projects and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the UK without requiring current or future sponsorship.
