About The Role
eShocan LLC is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will contribute across the application stack, building and enhancing responsive user interfaces, backend services, APIs, and data integrations. You will work with React, GraphQL, BigQuery, and backend technologies such as Node.js, Go, or Python, while helping ensure that applications are dependable, scalable, and straightforward to maintain.
The successful candidate brings deep hands-on development experience and is comfortable working in large codebases and enterprise environments. You will collaborate with engineering colleagues and stakeholders to understand requirements, evaluate implementation options, and deliver tested features. This position requires strong debugging skills, sound SQL knowledge, and an appreciation for code quality, security, and reliable integrations.
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least 10 years of professional React development experience, seven years of GraphQL and backend development experience, and five years of experience with BigQuery. Strong practical experience with Node.js, Go/Golang, or Python is required, along with advanced SQL skills and the ability to work with data-intensive applications. Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL is a plus.
We are looking for experience using GitHub in team environments, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews. Candidates should have worked within large, established codebases and be comfortable navigating unfamiliar components. Experience designing or integrating REST APIs and connecting enterprise systems is important. Familiarity with identity and access management—including SSO or MFA using Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, OAuth2, or SAML—is an advantage. Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack features using React and appropriate backend technologies. Build and support GraphQL services and REST APIs, and contribute to integrations between internal applications and enterprise platforms. Work with BigQuery and SQL to support data access, reporting, and application workflows. Help assess technical requirements, identify dependencies, and recommend solutions that balance user needs, security, performance, and maintainability.
Participate in code reviews and follow established GitHub workflows, branching practices, and development standards. Write and maintain unit, integration, and other appropriate automated tests. Investigate defects, trace issues across frontend, backend, and data layers, and implement effective fixes. Collaborate with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, communicate progress, and deliver work in a timely manner. Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of development practices, application reliability, and integration quality.
