About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Multibanking team at Haufe Group. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our cloud-based multibanking platform, which handles impressive transaction volumes daily and supports the secure transfer of billions of euros annually. Your expertise will contribute to creating innovative financial solutions that prioritize user experience, system stability, and scalability. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of developers, UX designers, and product managers, you will leverage modern technologies and AI tools to shape the future of banking software. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your ideas and technical skills will directly impact our customers’ financial operations and satisfaction.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a proven track record in building robust banking or financial software. You should be proficient in frontend development with React and TypeScript, and have solid backend expertise in Spring Boot (Java), relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and cloud microservices architecture, including AWS services like EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, and Lambda. Experience integrating AI tools into development workflows and building AI-driven applications is highly desirable. You must have a strong understanding of clean code principles, test-driven development, and agile methodologies. Fluency in German at a C2 level is required for seamless communication within the team and with stakeholders. A passion for innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising software engineers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and agile coaches to develop and enhance the multibanking platform, covering frontend, backend, and infrastructure components.
  • Implement modern, scalable web solutions using React, TypeScript, Spring Boot, and cloud microservices, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Leverage AI tools actively within the development process to increase efficiency and responsibility, from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.
  • Prioritize customer needs by continuously improving features and functionalities that simplify banking processes while maintaining system stability in a highly scaled environment.
  • Participate in tool selection, experiment with new approaches, and contribute to an innovative development culture through ongoing dialogue and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, adherence to best practices, and documentation, fostering a culture of continuous integration and delivery.
  • Engage in regular team meetings, contribute ideas, and provide technical guidance to peers, ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational standards.
