Role Description This remote, entry-level Graduate Developer role is a part-time position designed for recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in software development. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with the design, development, testing, and maintenance of internal tools and applications used to support maritime and logistics operations. The Graduate Developer will help troubleshoot issues, document features and changes, and contribute to code reviews under the guidance of more experienced developers. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, refine technical solutions, and improve system reliability and usability. The position also offers opportunities for learning modern development practices, participating in sprint planning, and gaining exposure to real-world production environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with at least one modern programming language (such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#) and a basic understanding of software development principles.
• Familiarity with version control tools (for example, Git) and comfort working in collaborative code repositories.
• Basic knowledge of web or backend development concepts, such as APIs, databases, or front-end frameworks, and willingness to learn more.
