Role Description The Developer role at EgoTECHworld is a full-time remote position focused on building, maintaining, and improving software solutions aligned with client and internal product needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing clean, efficient code, debugging and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable applications. The Developer will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and help refine system architecture and development processes. This role also involves staying current with relevant technologies and best practices, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance performance, security, and user experience.
Qualifications

• Strong software development skills in at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#) and familiarity with common frameworks.
• Experience with web or application development, including APIs, front-end or back-end architecture, and integration with third-party services.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL), data modeling, and basic performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to analyze requirements, conduct technical research, and propose practical, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Comfort working in a remote environment, with effective communication, time management, and self-organization skills.
• Familiarity with testing practices (unit, integration, or end-to-end testing) and commitment to code quality and reliability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in technology or IT services is a plus.
