We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with strong Java and Angular skills to join our client’s Financial Applications (FinApps) team at a leading global professional services firm. The team is digitalizing internal processes, replacing legacy Excel and Access solutions with modern web applications built on Java/Spring microservices and an Angular frontend.

We’re looking for an experienced engineer who can independently own and deliver features end-to-end, from the Angular frontend through Spring Boot backend services and data persistence, and who can turn complex business processes into robust, user-friendly applications.

This is a long-term, fully remote contract position (Europe-based) from 1 December 2026 to 30 November 2030 (48 months), with occasional on-site presence of approx. 5 working days per year.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deliver features across the Angular frontend and Java backend.
• Turn internal business processes currently run in Excel/Access into scalable web applications.
• Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Spring and Spring Boot in a microservices architecture.
• Design data models and implement persistence with JPA/Hibernate.
• Develop responsive, maintainable Angular UIs in TypeScript.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, tested code and contribute to engineering best practices.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Fullstack Engineer with Java and Angular.
• Strong backend skills in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases.
• Solid frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and building microservices.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup.
• Fluent English.
• Based in Europe.
• Available to start on 1 December 2026.
