Role Description This is a full-time, on-site
Web Developer role based in Moncton, NB. The
Web Developer will design, build, and maintain
websites that support client branding and business goals, ensuring visually consistent, responsive, and user-friendly experiences. Day-to-day tasks include developing front-end interfaces, implementing back-end functionality, integrating content and design assets from the studio team, and optimizing site performance and
security. The role involves collaborating closely with designers and strategists, translating brand and strategy requirements into functional
web solutions, and updating existing sites in line with evolving client needs. The
Web Developer will also troubleshoot
technical issues, document code, and stay current with
web technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong front-end development skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end frameworks.
- Back-End Web Development and Programming experience, with the ability to build and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs.
- Solid Web Development fundamentals, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Web Design capabilities to create user-centered layouts that align with brand guidelines and provide intuitive navigation.
- Experience collaborating with branding, design, or marketing teams and translating visual concepts into functional web experiences.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress or similar), version control tools, and modern development workflows.
- Effective communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and strong attention to detail.
- Relevant post-secondary education in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and SEO principles is an asset; ability to work in both English and French is considered a plus.
