About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Application Developer to join our dynamic Digital Operator Solutions team. Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced technical expertise and a solid educational background aligned with the following qualifications:

• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and modern web development frameworks, particularly Angular.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure and distributed systems, with a focus on AWS services such as S3 and Load Balancers.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of event-driven architectures, with practical knowledge of Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Proficiency in NoSQL database management, especially MongoDB, and knowledge of database design principles.
• Strong familiarity with ITIL frameworks, Agile methodologies, and best practices in software development lifecycle management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Fluency in German is required; proficiency in English is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of German security and governmental compliance standards is highly desirable.
  
  

Responsibilities

As a Senior Web Application Developer, your core responsibilities will include:

• Leading the full lifecycle development of microservices-based web applications, from initial concept through testing and deployment, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical standards.
• Defining and evolving the company's IT architecture, including software design and infrastructure, to ensure scalability, security, and future readiness.
• Applying ITIL best practices to maintain operational excellence, actively participating in incident management, problem resolution, change management, and release processes.
• Managing relationships with external software development providers, acting as the technical point of contact, and ensuring deliverables meet quality and architectural standards.
• Implementing and maintaining security policies, secure coding practices, and application configuration standards to ensure compliance and protect company assets.
