Software Engineer (SE 1–3) — GUIDEcx

We build the customer onboarding platform that B2B software companies run their implementations on. We're hiring a product focused software engineer at any level — we'll set the level based on fit, not a slot we're trying to fill.

What you'll do

• Ship features end to end across our web app and APIs
• Work directly with Product and with the stakeholders who depend on what you build
• Understand the customer problem behind the ticket, and say so when you think there's a better answer
• Bring ideas about where the product should go.
• Support a production SaaS application

What we're looking for

• You think like a product engineer: the code is the means, the customer outcome is the point
• Experience building and shipping production software
• Experience in Go, React, Postgres, Kubernetes or similar technologies

How we work

• We believe our engineers should spend large, uninterrupted chunks of time coding. Your calendar should look like our engineer, Riley’s: 4 hours of meetings for the week, the rest of the time spent solving problems.
• We believe in coming up with good ideas, getting them to prod, and iterating.
• We don’t believe in long winded up front planning.
• Anyone can come up with a solution, or a direction. Title doesn’t determine good ideas.
• We take pride in the code we push, the product we build, and the stability of our system.

Compensation

• $70,000-$180,000

Plus quarterly bonuses tied to a clear, measurable mix of company performance and individual goals, stock options, and comprehensive benefits.
