We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!


The Role

• Develop, enhance, and support a modern web application platform, consolidating multiple modules into a secure, cohesive user experience.

• Build and maintain backend API endpoints to orchestrate application traffic and business workflows.

• Maintain and enhance the web UI layer, ensuring modular, maintainable code that integrates cleanly with backend APIs.

• Design and implement secure database access patterns against a cloud-based PostgreSQL instance.

• Participate in design and requirement-gathering sessions to translate business needs into actionable user stories and technical tasks.

• Support containerized application deployments and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for build, test, security scanning, and deployment.


What You'll Need

• Strong hands-on software engineering experience delivering web-based applications.

• Experience building web applications and APIs using Python and a web framework like Flask.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for web UI development.

• Experience with API design and integration, including validation and error handling.

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).

• Experience deploying and supporting applications on a major cloud platform like Azure.
