Senior Full Stack Developer

The Opportunity

I am looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a growing product team and play a key role in modernising a core manufacturing platform. You’ll be working on a new browser-based product that brings together complex workflows, visualisation and cloud technology to create a more streamlined experience for customers and partners.

You’ll work closely with senior technical leadership, product, design and engineering to shape the product and make decisions around how it is built and scaled.

What You'll Be Doing

• Owning the modernisation of a legacy .NET Framework application and transitioning it into a modern, browser-based SaaS product.
• Plan and implement migration strategies while maintaining backward compatibility and production stability.
• Design and develop web applications using React and Next.js, with .NET/C# and Node.js across the backend.
• Build responsive interfaces that provide a strong user experience across devices.
• Make key backend architecture decisions covering APIs, server-side logic and system integrations.
• Design and implement integrations with third-party APIs and external systems.
• Contribute to cloud and infrastructure design across AWS Lambda, EC2 and RDS.
• Champion clean, reusable and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and help maintain strong engineering standards.
• Build systems that are observable, fault-tolerant and straightforward to maintain.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience developing and maintaining full stack web applications.
• Strong commercial experience with .NET / C#, including both legacy .NET Framework and modern .NET.
• Proven experience migrating legacy .NET Framework applications to modern .NET.
• Strong knowledge of React and Next.js.
• Working experience with Node.js, ideally with Express, NestJS or a similar framework.
• Strong experience working with relational databases, particularly MSSQL.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Strong understanding of application security, performance and scalable development practices.
• Solid experience with AWS, particularly Lambda, EC2 and RDS.
• Experience with the Serverless Framework.
• Experience with CI/CD, ideally including GitHub Actions.
