Role Description This part-time Remote Software Developer role focuses on building and maintaining software solutions that support Level 15’s design and procurement services. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and debugging back-end web applications and tools, as well as integrating systems that streamline project workflows and data management. The role involves collaborating with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional features. The developer will also review existing codebases for performance and reliability, implement improvements, and document technical processes for future maintenance. As a remote position, the role requires effective independent work, regular virtual communication, and adherence to agreed deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience designing, implementing, and maintaining production-ready applications.
• Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and application in modern programming languages.
• Experience working in remote or distributed teams, with effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and common development workflows.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
