Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PHP Developer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of web applications and backend services. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in PHP, web development, databases, and software development practices, along with a willingness to learn and work collaboratively with a technical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP.
  • Write clean, organized, reusable, and maintainable code.
  • Assist with developing backend functionality and application features.
  • Work with MySQL or other relational databases to create and maintain data-driven applications.
  • Integrate web applications with REST APIs and third-party services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, errors, and performance issues.
  • Participate in testing and debugging of new and existing application features.
  • Assist with code reviews and follow established development standards.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, software engineers, designers, and other technical teams.
  • Assist with application deployments, updates, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Monitor application functionality and help identify areas for improvement.

  • Perform other software development duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • 0–3 years of experience in PHP development, web development, or a related software development role.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of PHP.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar database systems.
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs and web application architecture.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version-control systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and development frameworks quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or another PHP framework.
  • Familiarity with Composer and PHP package management.
