About this role

CoTrain is a vetted marketplace that connects companies with elite, pre-screened engineers — we handle vetting and matching so you go straight to real work. This is a hands-on, full-time engineering seat with real ownership from week one.

What you'll do

We're looking for a full-stack engineer to own real surface area across Astro AI's product, front to back. This isn't ticket-taking. You'll ship features end to end on Next.js, React, and Supabase, make product calls in the moment, and treat AI as a core part of how you build — not a tool you occasionally open.

• Build full-stack features end to end across the frontend (Next.js, React, TypeScript) and backend (Supabase, Postgres)
• Own real product surface area — core flows, onboarding, payments, and everything that makes the product work
• Work on payment and subscription infrastructure (Stripe / Stripe Connect)
• Ship fast and iterate live with real users — hours and days, not weeks
• Use Claude as a core part of your workflow: sub-agents, MCPs, Claude Code

What we're looking for

• Full-stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript, and a Postgres-backed stack like Supabase
• AI-native — you live in Claude and it shows in your velocity
• Strong product and UI/UX instincts; you care how things look and feel
• High agency — you don't wait to be told what to build
• A shipper who'd rather ship and iterate than polish for a month
• Available on US time zones
• Hungry in the prove-everyone-wrong way, not the "looking for a job" way

Nice to have

• Shipped products to real users as a founding or early engineer
• Hands-on experience with Stripe / Stripe Connect or marketplace payments
• Fluent with agentic tooling and MCPs beyond the basics
• A design sensibility (Figma, taste, an eye for detail)
