The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in front-end web development, with proficiency in modern frameworks such as Angular or React, and experience working within cloud and containerized environments like Kubernetes or Docker. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, user-centric designs, wireframes, and mockups that align with UX standards and stakeholder requirements. Additionally, the developer will be responsible for implementing modifications to GUIs, enhancing system navigation, and ensuring the overall usability of user-facing features. This position offers the flexibility of remote work and requires an active Secret clearance to operate within classified environments.

Qualifications
- Secret clearance or higher required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience
- Minimum of 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages
- Experience with DevSecOps tool suites, microservices, and containerization
- Proven ability to prepare, conduct, and document system tests to verify operability and compliance
- At least 3 years of experience with bug tracking software such as Jira
- 3 years of experience testing web-based applications
- 3 years of participation in software development programs or projects
- 3 years of experience utilizing TypeScript in Angular or React frameworks
- Hands-on experience developing within cloud environments
- Practical experience working with containerized environments like Kubernetes or Docker
- Experience integrating data from unclassified to classified deployments
- At least 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab
- Proficiency with at least five of the following tools: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven EXP, SonarQube
- Recent and relevant experience in front-end web design and development
- Ability to engage in agile, user-centric application design and produce system wireframes and mockups
- Experience with UX design tools such as Sketch or InVision
- Design, develop, and optimize user interfaces for government and enterprise applications
- Create technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and associated documentation for stakeholder review
- Plan and implement modifications to GUIs to enhance usability and system navigation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure UI/UX standards are met and user needs are addressed
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Conduct system testing, document results, and verify system operability and compliance with project standards
- Integrate data across unclassified and classified environments, ensuring security and functionality
- Utilize agile methodologies to deliver user-centric solutions efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of current front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices
- Engage in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of UI components
