Role Description

The Frontend Engineer will design, develop, and maintain user-facing features for Xsofts POS applications, ensuring a smooth and responsive experience across devices. Responsibilities include implementing clean, maintainable code, collaborating with product and design teams to translate requirements into interfaces, and optimizing performance and accessibility. The role also involves debugging issues, participating in code reviews, and working closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services. This is a full-time, on-site role located in District 7, where the engineer will work with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the product and contribute to technical decisions and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong Front-End Development skills, including building modern, interactive user interfaces.
• Experience with Retail, Ecommerce.
• Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using ReactJs & NextJs.
• Collaborate with design and backend teams to deliver seamless, high-quality user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces for various devices.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing front-end applications.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and follow best practices.
• Integrate front-end components with backend services via APIs.
• Understand client requirements and implement first-time-right solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a strong focus on ReactJs & NextJs.
• Experience developing responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization techniques.
• Skills in web application profiling and performance improvement.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with code formatters and linting tools.
