Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with a strong background in Node.js and React to join our team. You will be working on a scalable eLearning platform (iGaming Academy) that delivers educational content to thousands of professionals. Location: Malta / Cyprus (Hybrid).

Key Responsibilities

• Build full-stack applications using Node.js on the backend and React on the frontend
• Build responsive and accessible user interfaces for course delivery, lesson management, assessments, progress tracking, and user dashboards
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using modern JavaScript/TypeScript patterns
• Design and implement serverless functions for background processing, integrations, and event-driven workflows
• Implement real-time functionality for live sessions, notifications, and collaboration tools
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and responsiveness across desktop and mobile
• Collaborate with product managers, instructional designers, and other engineers

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Node.js and backend API development
• 3+ years of experience with React and modern frontend tooling
• Hands-on experience with serverless functions (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, etc.)
• Experience with real-time or event-driven systems
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimisation
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript
