Role Description The Application Developer will design, build, and maintain web-based / Mobile applications that power Acilox’s product ecosystem. In this full-time remote role, the developer will work closely with product and design teams to implement features, integrate services, and optimize performance across multiple brands. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, working with databases, implementing responsive front-end components, and ensuring reliable integrations between internal and external systems. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, participating in code reviews, contributing to technical documentation, and continuously improving development workflows and tooling.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Software Development and Programming, with experience building and maintaining production-grade applications.
  • Hands-on experience working with Databases, including designing schemas, writing efficient queries, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), with a focus on responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces.
  • Experience with Integration, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and connecting third-party services to core applications.
  • Familiarity with modern development stacks (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, backend languages like Node, Python, or similar).
  • Comfort with version control (Git), collaborative development practices, and code review workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; experience in product-led or SaaS environments is a plus.
