Role Description

The Frontend / Backend Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and software systems across both client-side and server-side environments. This role delivers high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions that support business objectives while ensuring a seamless user experience and reliable system performance.

Key responsibilities include developing responsive user interfaces, implementing application features, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility on the frontend. On the backend, the role designs and maintains APIs, server-side applications, databases, and business logic, ensuring scalability, security, and high system availability.

The position participates in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. It also conducts code reviews, optimizes application performance, resolves technical issues, and implements best practices for software quality and maintainability.

The role works with databases to design schemas, optimize queries, and manage data integrity. It also integrates third-party services and ensures smooth communication between frontend components, backend services, and external systems through well-designed APIs.

Collaboration with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers is essential to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The role also contributes to continuous improvement by adopting modern development practices, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance product quality and development efficiency.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks, along with backend programming languages, frameworks, and API development.

Solid understanding of web application architecture, RESTful services, client-server communication, authentication, and security best practices.

Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including database design, query optimization, and data management.

Proficiency with version control systems, software testing, debugging techniques, and CI/CD concepts. Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and development tools is an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable solutions, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and optimize application performance.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams, manage multiple development tasks, and deliver high-quality software solutions within project timelines.
