- Design and implement typed APIs and durable data models
- Partner with design on accessible, performant interfaces
- Write decision records and keep runbooks current
- Mentor engineers through thoughtful review
- Own production signals for what you ship
- Strong TypeScript and modern React/Next.js
- Relational modelling and SQL fluency
- Testing discipline (unit, integration, e2e where it pays)
- Clear written communication
- PostgreSQL at scale
- Azure or AWS delivery
- Public-sector or regulated domain experience
