Job Title: Full Stack Developer

Location: Edmonton, AB (Remote) only local candidates from Alberta can apply

Duration: 24+ Months (with possible extension)

Client: Public Sector

Pay Rate: CAD $70-$85 per hour

Must have:

• 5 years of experience using source control systems, particularly Git, in collaborative software development environments.
• 3 years of experience with automated unit testing and integration testing.
• 3 years of experience working with database technologies, including relational databases and alternative database solutions.
• 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer delivering complex software solutions in an Agile environment.
• 3 years of experience developing and supporting production applications using modern application frameworks and technologies.

Technical Skills (Mandatory)

Frontend Technologies

• Experience with one or more of the following:
• Angular
• React
• Vue.js
• Other modern frontend frameworks

Backend Technologies

• Experience with one or more of the following:
• C# .NET Core
• Node.js (NestJS / Express)
• Python (Django)
• Other backend development frameworks

Databases

• Experience with:
• Relational Databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Other database technologies (e.g., NoSQL solutions)

Cloud Platforms

• Experience with one or more cloud platforms:
• AWS
• Microsoft Azure
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

AI/ML Skills

• Exposure to or experience with AI/ML technologies, Generative AI, LLMs, agentic frameworks, or related solutions.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

• 2 years of experience incrementally transforming legacy systems into modern digital services and platforms.
• 1 year of experience leveraging Generative AI and agentic tools to produce executive-grade deliverables and solutions.
• 2 years of experience with one or more technologies from the specified technical stack.
• 2 years of experience applying software architecture principles and design patterns in enterprise solutions.
• 2 years of experience working with Government of Alberta development guidelines and principles.
• 2 years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• 2 years of experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams that utilize UX design, service design, and design-thinking practices.
